1.Velika planina
Summer, spring, winter or fall – Velika planina is a timeless location which looks a bit like a scene from a Lord of the Rings.
A mountaintop pasture of the Slovenian mountains known as the Kamnik–Savinja Alps is a place for great hiking and a perfect escape from all the stress.
Velika planina is a journey back to some more simple times —- and that’s why the modern Instagrammers are so crazy about it.

Velika planina is the site of one of Europe’s few surviving high mountain herdsmen’s villages where traditional Alpine herdsmen’s culture is still alive.
2. Ojstrica/Lake Bled Viewpoint
If you’re looking for the famous Lake Bled viewpoint, it’s highly likely you’re referring to Ojstrica.

To get to the Ojstrica it does take a little effort. However, by following Instagram accounts of some popular travel bloggers you can see that the jaw-dropping views are well worth the uphill hike.
3. Ljubljana Triple Bridge
The Triple Bridge or Tromostovje as it is called in Slovene is a group of three bridges across the Ljubljanica River in Slovenia’s capital Ljubljana.

The outstanding triple bridge over the Ljubljanica river was designed by the famous Slovene architect Jože Plečnik. He added two side bridges to the old main bridge for pedestrians, and then connected all three with the same balustrade ( a row of small columns topped by a rail).
Who wouldn’t like to be admired posing by such a unique gem!
4. Logar Valley
It takes just one look at Logar Valley (Logarska dolina), and it’s pretty obvious why this place is so ‘insta-famous’!
The Logar Valley is one of the most beautiful alpine glacial valleys in Europe and flows into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps from the north.

In 1987, the Logar Valley received protected status as a landscape park encompassing 24.75 square kilometres (9.56 sq mi).
5. Lake Jasna
Lake Jasna is an extraordinary beautiful small alpine lake near Kranjska Gora along the road to the Vršič Pass. In every season of the year Instagram is packed with snaps from this heaven-like Slovenian spot! #LakeJasna

The statue of Goldhorn (Slovene: Zlatorog) stands proudly at the entrance of the lake.
The crystal clear water looks so inviting, but due to cold temperatures even in the summer only the bravest dare to enter it.
