Is Ljubljana Main Bus Station Finally Getting a NEW Look?

We have been waiting for the new building of the main Ljubljana bus station for a long time. It looks like we are finally one step closer to getting a fresh looking domestic and international bus/train station in the centre of our capital!

The winning plan

Bevk Perović Architects won the competition for the main bus station in Ljubljana. The authors of the architectural plan describe the new building as “modern, flexible and user-friendly“.

But as the architects point out there is still too early to talk about the start of construction, as it depends on how quickly the whole process will start, from design to obtaining a building permit.

Construction could take two or three years.
