Ljubljana in the most wonderful time of the year!

December’s festive season got into full swing in Ljubljana, as Christmas lights illuminated the city centre. Along the banks of the Ljubljanica river there is a cute and lively Christmas market going through the whole month.

Locals LOVE the festive season in their capital!

Ljubljana’s Festive Fair, accompanied by food and drink stalls, becomes the centre of the city’s social life in December. The artistically designed festive lights illuminate the whole city, which makes Ljubljana’s unique beauty stand out even more!

Lots of free events!

The nearby squares will host a vast programme of free music concerts. There are many other events for adults and children, including processions featuring St Nicholas and Father Frost.

The festivities will culminate with open-air parties on New Year’s eve with a fireworks display from the Ljubljana Castle hill.

Welcome to join the magic of the last month of the year in Ljubljana!
