Visit The Living Nativity in Postojna Cave!
Slovenia’s Postojna Cave is already remarkable in itself. But a carefully prepared programme that every year delights visitors from all over the world gives it a special value and magic in the seasonal atmosphere of December.
Between 25 and 30 December
Postojna Cave is a pioneer among Living Nativity scenes in Slovenia. This year it proudly continues the tradition with the most magical Christmas experience, which visitors will remember for years to come. Between 25 and 30 December, there will be a biblical story staged along 5 kilometre path inside the jaw-dropping Postojna Cave.
The biblical story, which is staged for six days every year, is a collaboration of no fewer than 150 performers, who prepare for it all year long.
Many events and musical performances
In addition to top-notch musical performances, visitors will be able to enjoy a 90-minute tour with a festive train. This year’s live cribs will shine again with audio-visual effects, and the authenticity of 16 biblical scenes is taken care of by the local performers.
