Sleeping above a traditional Slovenian restaurant is an opportunity to immerse yourself in more than 200 years of hospitality and gingerbread-making tradition in one of Slovenia’s most charming medieval towns. The scent of freshly baked gingerbread drifts upstairs, the floorboards creak with history, and dinner is served just a staircase away.
The guesthouse offers traditionally furnished rooms, each with a private bathroom, shower, seating area, TV, minibar, and complimentary Wi-Fi. There is no 24-hour reception, but during our stay, that wasn’t an issue at all. If we had to mention one small thing, it would be the lack of coffee in the room. There was a kettle and a nice selection of teas, but as passionate coffee drinkers, we couldn’t help wishing for a cup of coffee to start the day.
Breakfast is served every morning, providing a pleasant start to a day of exploring Radovljica and the surrounding area.
