UNIQUE SLOVENIA STAYS: Hotel Špik Alpine Resort, Gozd Martuljek
This calm spot of pure nature turned out to be such a brilliant choice away from the Kranjska Gora crowds.
From specious and beautifully (renovated) rooms still smelling of wood, breath-taking views of the Alpine surroundings, to excellent food in hotel’s restaurant – our stay at Hotel Špik could be rated as a complete 10.
We had breakfast and dinner and both was great, fresh, with many different food options & a lot of cool Slovenian food-product brands to try-out!
Introducing some Slovenian breakfast ‘goodies’ we have picked: Alpsko mleko (Alpine Milk) with vanilla, Kekec pašteta (Kekec pâté), MIU cheese spread with herbs, MIU butter and some oat flakes.
Good morning with a GREAT selection of natural fruit-juices!
Adding an indoor pool and beautiful wellness to this stay – our experience of Hotel Špik can simply be described as superb!
